How we review tools and guides

Before a guide or tool page is treated as priority content, we review whether it describes a real task, gives useful input and output expectations, explains limitations, links to related workflows, and matches the behavior of the live tool.

Content standards

• We prioritize local processing and user privacy
• Steps are reviewed and updated when tools change

Privacy claims

Privacy claims are based on the intended browser-local architecture of the tool and are checked with browser DevTools or automated network expectations when possible. If a page uses a CDN library or third-party service, the relevant limitation is disclosed in the page or privacy policy.

Advertising disclosure

Sponsored or affiliate resources must be labeled so users can distinguish editorial recommendations from paid placement. Advertising relationships do not determine whether a tool or guide is included.

Corrections
